I was born in Tabriz (pictured above) in north western Iran in 1989. I got my B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering and Aerospace Engineering (dual major) from Sharif University of Technology in 2013. I joined the graduate program in Boston University in September 2013. I defended my thesis in December 2017 and from February 2018 to May 2021, I was a postdoctoral researcher in MIT CSAIL.
